About Us

Troop 1910 is a dynamic Boy Scout unit comprising approximately 100 engaged young members, dedicated to the principle that hands-on experience is the most effective way for boys to learn. As a fully boy-led troop, we emphasize the value of peer-to-peer mentorship, fostering an environment where tribal knowledge is shared and learning opportunities are reinforced at every scouting level. We take pride in creating a nurturing space that supports boys’ emotional growth and strengthens their moral character. At the heart of our mission is empowering boys to become leaders—of themselves, their patrols, their troop, and in their broader communities—a core tenet of the Scouting experience. Our troop embraces a wide range of activities, from high-adventure pursuits to traditional camping, hiking, and backpacking, offering diverse opportunities for growth and exploration.We warmly welcome boys who meet the eligibility criteria: those who are at least 11 years old, have completed fifth grade, or have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10 years old, but have not yet reached 18. Our troop gathers every Monday at 6:30 PM in the Family Life Center at the United Methodist Church of Keller, located at 1025 Johnson Road. We extend an open invitation to visitors who wish to join us and experience our community firsthand.Troop 1910 is supported by an exceptional adult leadership team, divided into two collaborative groups. The White Buffalo Patrol, composed of our dedicated Assistant Scoutmasters, works alongside our Troop Committee, which ensures seamless administrative operations. Together, they provide the guidance and structure that allow our scouts to thrive. Proudly chartered by the Golden Triangle Rotary Club, Troop 1910 is committed to fostering leadership, character, and adventure in every scout we serve.

Youth Leadership

Troop 1910 prides itself with truly being a boy-led troop as is intended by the very design. As such, every six months we provide our Scouts an opportunity to run for and either be appointed or elected into key leadership positions within our Unit.
